FAQ

Q. What species of logs do you build with?

A. We use White Pine from Ontario, White Cedar or Red Cedar from British Columbia in the construction of our homes. Logs are cut into Timbers and air dried at our Mill. Once dried they are Machined into a 6”X12” or 8X8” Double Tongue & Groove with Notch & Pass Corners and Dovetail ends. Your choice of V match Face, Chinking Groove, D style Tongue & Groove or Double Round. The walls are joined with 1/2X10” Plated Lag Bolts with 400 lb. PSI Springs countersunk at 3 ft. Intervals, this allows logs to expand and contract during temperature changes and eliminates any future adjustments.
